Time

You ever feel like you can't keep up with how fast time is moving, yet you need it to speed up? It's a trip. I can't believe it will be September in a few days. I just saw my last entry was posted July 14th. Had you asked me, I would have guessed it was posted August 14th. I feel it's pretty easy to dwell in the past. Get swept up in the nostalgia. But I also realize this is dangerous. If you're constantly ruminating about in the past or future, you might miss out of something special in the present. I try not to think about it, because the thought terrifies me, but it is unknown how much time we have left on this earth.

When I turned 30, I thought, "Have I lived 33% of my life? 50%? 90%? 25%?"

The point being, it's okay to allow ourselves those moments of reflection. But set a time limit to it. Trust the process.

I feel a change in the wind. The uncertainty brings a tingling excitement to the soul. The purpose will be revealed.

Peace, love, and a little sarcasm, j.d.k.
